'Lets keep that flower dollar in the school system'
- Jim Lineberger

Our company was founded by people with deep-roots in the education system, so we knew that raising money in new and exciting ways was something schools both want and need. That thought is paramount to our core values.

Each year, an overwhelming number of people bring flowers to graduations that they purchase from vendors off-site. In the beginning, I thought, 'Why aren’t the schools benefiting from these sales? We need to change that.'

- Robert Fulton,
Founder

We try to offer products people want. If we can stay in front of the curve by being on the cutting-edge of what parents and buyers want, the fundraiser will be hit because the products sell themselves. THAT is what makes a successful fundraiser. That’s what were all about”

- Jeff Lineberger
Owner

“We need to continuously re-evaluate ways to improve our quality, transparency and our service. The goal is to provide our schools with the best quality product in a way that’s simple, affordable and convenient to our customers.”

- Bill Stout
General Manager

2004
An Idea Was Born

In 2004, Kahuna Flowers broke onto the scene by beta-testing a new concept in schools- flower fundraising. Orchid leis and rose bouquets had long been a hit at the college level, but nobody had really brought the concept to K-12 education in California. In 2004, that all changed.

...

In 2006, we went national. We started offering our services to colleges and grew substantially in the years to come.

...

This was a pivotal year. This was the year we took the whole process online and offered buyers a chance to purchase from anywhere in the country- and grads could pick-up product at the ceremony.

...

The introduction of the Kukui Nut Lei into our brand. The customization of school products that were a non-perishable, custom and very appropriate to the graduations made this year a turning point in our product line.

...

Our most exciting year ever! Kahuna Flowers grows into Kahuna Fundraising and offers products year-round: Kukui’s at football games (and sporting events), T-shirts and spirit wear, Valentines day, mothers day… it was all in play. We also launched our new website to offer complete insight into how our process works.
